CAPISE

The Center of Political Analisis and Social and Economic Investigations (CAPISE) has its central offices in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. We develop work in the area of indigenous of the state. We center on collective rights of the indigenous people, particularly the right to and defense of terrirory, the right to justice, the right to cultural identity and political rights.

The Human Rights Center Fray Bartolome de las Casas is a civil organization has as its objective the promotion and defense of human rights, giving preference to victims that are marginalized by their poverty.

SIPAZ is a program of international observation born in 1995, alter the zapatista uprising in 1994, to monitor the conflict in Chiapas, México. Today, SIPAZ supports the search for pacific solutions and the construcción of a culture of peace, dialogue and tolerante among the actors in Chiapas.

Yashalumde Santiago Apóstol, A.C.

The Association grew out of the need to bring education to a group of poor indigenous children; to create a proper organization to assist field laborers, and to remedy the absence of infrastructures promoting health, agriculture, education, environmental protection, and the preservation of tradition and culture among indigenous communities. SYJAC is linked with them in the process of strengthening their capacities and accompanying the educational project of the organization.
