We begin with the fact that people, groups and organized communities are the subjects of their own process and SYJAC is a vehicle to potentialize this process. Many activities are focused on facilitating access to financing, proyects and help that respond to some specific need of these communities.

Many of these actions take place in the Colonia 5 de Marzo in San Cristobal de las Casas, the comunity of Corralito (Oxchuc) and in Yajalon.
* Reinforce Autonomous processes: Accompaniment and collaboration in social and autonomous processes in San Andres and communities in resistance in the Highlands.
* Training and accompaniment: Institutional and participatory leadership empowerment through facilitating meetings of evaluation, planning and monitoring of:
* Assisting Habitat for Humanity Mexico: From its inception we have accompanied the process of sensitizing groups and communities on the subject of housing. At present we are participating in the national organizational redesign (through the participation of two of our companions, one on the national Advisory Directorate and the other on the National Committee of Vigilance and Ethics)bajo conjunto entre autoridades autónomas, oficiales y de Bienes Comunales.
* Special Project: Educational Ecological Reserve Arca de Oca in Palenque, Chiapas: The mission is to establish organic agriculture appropriate for the region, permaculture, animal husbandry and alternative technologies to serve as a prototype for the state of Chiapas in the tropical south of Mexico.
* Comprehensive Accompaniment and Space for Youth in a Social Risk and Conflict Situation: To accompany, develop, encourage, facilitate and promote a permanent formative space for the biopsicosocial development of young adolescents in social risk or conflict that live in the suburbs of San Cristóbal de las Casas and those who belong to public educational institutes, in high school or Universities. These, in order to collaborate to the recognition, promotion and defense of the rights for young people. Among the specific goals we have established, we find the following:
